Braintree Village | Quiet Hour

At Braintree Village, we do our best to make sure that our shopping centre is accessible to everyone, and we're regularly audited to ensure that the services we provide are suitable so that all our visitors are able to enjoy a great day out with us. Our accessible facilities include:

• Accessible toilet facilities 
• Reserved parking spaces for guests with accessibility requirements
• Hidden disability lanyards available for customers with non-visible disabilities
• All colleagues and service partners who interact with members of the public receive training on autism and hidden disabilities

Launched in November 2020, we also now have a weekly quiet hour on Tuesdays between 10am to 11am. During this hour music will remain off in the centre, in many of our stores and tannoy announcements will be kept to a minimum. The quiet hour aims to create an inclusive and calmer atmosphere for our guests who may find shopping a stressful and overwhelming experience.
