The health and safety of everyone who visits Braintree Village is our number-one priority, as it has been throughout this crisis. And we continue to follow the Government’s guidelines. We would ask that anyone visiting Braintree Village treats their fellow guests and our teams with respect as we all get used to these new freedoms and give one another plenty of space.
Our teams continue to work hard to ensure all our guests feel safe when they visit. That means we’ll continue to maintain the cleaning regimes we’ve had in place throughout the pandemic, and we’ll continue to make hand sanitiser available to all our guests.
The Government has said that from 19th July, the wearing of face coverings will become a personal choice, however it is expected that anyone visiting Braintree Village will continue to wear one unless they are exempt. Our teams will be wearing them to protect those around them.
Our teams are on hand to keep everyone safe – please treat them with respect. We will not hesitate in asking people to leave the centre if they are abusive towards our staff.
Will centre staff be wearing masks?
The safety of everyone who comes into Braintree Village is our number-one priority and we have provided our teams with face coverings. They will continue to wear them to keep those around them safe.
Do all visitors have to wear a mask, even in open outdoor spaces?
From 19th July, it is expected that anyone visiting Braintree Village will wear one, unless they are exempt, and our teams will also continue to wear masks to protect those around them. We ask that anyone visiting Braintree Village treats fellow guests and staff with respect and gives each other a little bit of extra space as we get used to this more relaxed approach.
Will you still be making hand sanitiser freely available for the public?
Hand sanitisers are available around Braintree Village.
Are you changing centre capacity?
Yes, with social distancing guidance being lifted we will be reverting to the capacity levels we had prior to COVID.
What should guests do if they develop any COVID symptoms whilst shopping at the centre?
We urge anyone who is displaying symptoms of COVID-19 to remain at home and follow the Government’s guidance to self-isolate and get tested.
