Join our community initiative
We've launched Community Clothing Collection Banks in partnership with the Salvation Army (SATCOL) for guests to donate unwanted textiles and shoes to support those in need.
The donated items will be resold or recycled, and the profits generated will be channelled towards supporting The Salvation Army’s work throughout the country.
You will find six large donation banks points at Braintree Village. Three can be found in our North Car Park, on the right hand side of the North entrance and three are situated close to the exit of our South Car Park. We offer FREE parking for up to six hours making dropping off your unwanted items hassle free!
What can I donate?
We are accepting both new and used clothing and accessories which will go to the Salvation Army (SATCOL).
Items that are accepted include:
- Clothing
- Footwear
- Bags
- Belts
- Towels
- Bed linen
*Unfortunately we are unable to accept VHS cassettes, mattresses, curtains, rolls of fabric and stuffed bedding items such as duvets, pillows and sleeping bags, or anything damaged by damp
