Q. Are you closed?
A. Braintree Village is closed with the exceptions of the THREE categories that the Government has advised can continue to trade during lockdown. These are:
Q. What stores / brands / cafes / restaurants does this include?
A. The brands that are offering any of the three services can be found above.
Q. What measures have been put in place to keep us safe?
A. All the safety measures that we have had in place since reopening back in June will be continuing. This includes signage, posters, announcements, and floor markings to help our guests maintain social distancing. Hand sanitising stations are available throughout Braintree Village. Although we expect significantly fewer guests to be at Braintree Village during this lockdown period our Environmental teams will continue to carry out frequent, extensive cleaning with a focus on key touch points.
Q. Have your opening times changed?
A. Individual opening hours of stores offering a click & collect or take-away service are listed above. These may change so we recommend calling the store ahead of your visit.
Q. How do I enter the centre?
A. Please enter the centre via our South Entrance (next to Wildwood). A Guest Safety member will be at the entrance to welcome and direct you.
Q. Will there be a limit to how long I can spend in the centre?
A. Please be aware that the centre is closed and therefore those guests visiting for one of the three categories that are allowed under Government guidance, are encouraged to collect their goods and services, and then leave the centre. The centre will not be open for exercise purposes.
Q. Can I visit / meet with friends and family?
A. No, please follow Government guidelines and do not meet up with people at Braintree Village who are not in your household or social bubble. We highly recommend that guests visit on their own and minimise the number of household members that accompany one another for an essential shopping / click & collect / take-away visit to Braintree Village during this period.
Q. Will dogs still be welcome?
A. We would highly recommend that you do not bring your dogs to Braintree Village during this lockdown period. Assistance dogs are of course welcome as normal.
Q. Is your car park open? Is there a cost to park in your car park?
A. The South car park will remain open during lockdown and parking remains free of charge for up to 6 hours.
Q. Will I have to wear a face-covering?
A. We are asking guests to follow government guidance. This means guests must wear a face covering when making a collection, and we strongly encourage the use of face coverings throughout the centre.
Q. Are all the toilets open?
A. The toilets by our Guest Services suite will remain open during centre opening hours.
Q. Is Guest Services open?
A. No, but you can email a member of the team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q. Will I be able to make returns to stores offering click & collect?
A. Please contact the store directly to check their refund policy during this time. You can find contact numbers on the individual store pages here.
Q. Will your free wheelchair hire service be available?
A. Not during the lockdown period.
Q. When will you fully reopen?
A. We will be closely following Government guidance.
